This is not an article intended to promote the transmission of HIV and in no way is it meant to glamorize HIV or AIDS. Is it even possible to glamorize such an abysmal disease? I think not. But I have noticed that when an HIV-positive man takes a public stance without the “woe is me” pretense, that is the general dissent. The HIV-positive advocate recently sat down with the HIV League , a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the HIV-positive community through scholarship, wellness and education. In the video, Eric talks about some of the struggles he faced when he diagnosed, including the feeling of hating his body. "When I got HIV... you go through this phase where you hate your body.
